Progressive’s industry memberships, accreditations in education, certified courses and participation of those committed to safety standards and excellence in education aids us in providing exceptional support and education to our students. We take our contribution in education and training truck drivers seriously.

Progressive is a member CVTA – Commercial Vehicle Training Association. The Commercial Vehicle Training Association, Inc., (“CVTA”) is the national trade association representing the proprietary truck driving schools in the United States and Canada.  As a member, Progressive has agreed to abide by the CVTA Code of Conduct. This Code was designed to ensure that students enrolled in member schools are provided with the highest quality driver training. CVTA is committed to promoting the highest quality standards for commercial driver training schools. It accomplishes this by securing a signed pledge from the member to adhere to the Association’s Code of Conduct, screening all new member applicants, and investigating all reported violations of the Code.  In addition, the Association promotes the education of its members through two Conferences each year.  The Association has also developed an Instructor Certification Program to help improve the quality of instruction received by graduates from its member organizations. Progressive’s instructors go through the CVTA specialized training program on how to teach and prepare new drivers for their safe futures, in addition, progressive instructors must participate in a continuous education program provided by CVTA.

Progressive is a proud participant of CDTFI – Commercial Driver Training Foundation Institute.  CDTFI promotes, aids, and supports academic and educational programs offered by the commercial driver training and related industries.   They help improve the quality of truck driver training; assist students in attending training programs and promote the truck driver occupation.  CDTFI military scholarship assistance program exists to provide qualified active duty, retired and honorably discharged veterans of the U.S. armed services with partial scholarships to defray a portion of the cost of attending truck driver training programs. Progressive is a proud participant of CDTFI- Commercial Driver Training Foundation.

Is a corporate member of WIT – Women In Trucking.  Women In Trucking was established to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments and minimize obstacles faced by women working in the trucking industry. This organization has been created for both men and women, who are either involved in the industry or have a career interest in being a part of one of the largest networks of professionals in North America. Nearly one out of fourteen workers are already employed in jobs that support the transportation industry, but the need for drivers and other trucking professionals continues to increase. Progressive is committed to encouraging, supporting and training both men and women who are interested in working in the trucking industry and supporting the challenges that they face in obstacles and challenges faced on the road.

Progressive is a member of the Better Business Bureau with a rating of A+.  Being a member of the BBB means that the BBB has determined that the business meets accreditation standards which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints.  BBB Code of Business Practices represents standards for business accreditation by BBB.  Businesses based in the United States and Canada that meet these standards and complete all application procedures will be accredited by BBB.  The Code is built on the BBB Standards for Trust, eight principles that summarize important elements of creating and maintaining trust in business.
